Wedding Photography at Lindisfarne Castle
I photograph weddings regularly at Lindisfarne, and I have to admit it is a special favourite of mine. Driving over the causeway is always a thrill. Also as I wait at the entrance to the castle for the bride to arrive I can often hear the seals calling to each other. If you love the sea- you will love this venue. Here are some photos from a recent wedding in April this year.

Shona photographed our wedding on Lindisfarne two years ago this month. (Aside from my husband!) the photos are my favourite thing from the day! She captured everything we wanted seemingly effortlessly and managed to corral a very divided set of families and all their tensions so that the photos betrayed none of the undercurrent of modern family drama. The weather wasn’t our friend that day but Shona managed to use that to our benefit and the photographs are all the better for it. Her skills as a photographer are unsurpassed and our wedding photos are a testament to this. There’s a reason the National Trust recommend her!
